Put some butter in a frying pan and turn the stove onto low heat so that the butter melts.
Break the egg into a dish and beat with a fork until egg white and yolk are mixed together.
Put some bread crumbs into another dish.
Lay a pork chop in the egg mixture, then turn it over, so that both sides of the pork chop are coated in the egg. Then lay the pork chop into the bread crumbs, first on one side and then on the other (the egg will cause the bread crumbs to stick to the pork chop). Then put the pork chop into the frying pan.
Immediately repeat for the other pork chops.
Put salt and pepper on the upper side of the pork chops. Then turn them with a fork and add salt and pepper to the other side.
Put the frying pan onto medium heat. Turn the chops with a fork each couple of minutes so that they do not burn (the egg and bread crumb mixture should turn golden brown, but not black).
After about 15 minutes, the pork chops should be cooked. You can test by making a small cut with a sharp knife in the thickest part of the thickest pork chop, to make sure that the meat is no longer red.
Pork chops are usually served with potatoes or mashed potatoes.
Additional Notes
If you can't fit all the pork chops into a single frying pan, you can use 2 frying pans instead.
